Only problem is that he is the only midget in our WR corps.

Alexander - 6'5
Floyd - 6'5
Allen - 6'3
Gates - 6'4
Brown - 5'11

In all seriousness though, Brown could be a very good slot WR. I'm just curious to see how quickly Allen fits in and where. I think Floyd may be taking a backseat soon, with Alexander #1, Allen #2, Brown in the slot, paired with a healthy motivated Gates.

He may be the smallest but hes the best route runner. Which at the end of the day allows him to get open. Hes going to have a huge year i think. He can line up anywhere. Outside, slot etc. I think he could be a Victor Cruz type.

Danario Alexander's knee once again bites the dust. Vincent Brown needs to step up.

With the new coach, I want to be optimistic this year. There's only so many changes you can make in the offense for it to succeed. Need to get more YPC on the first 2 downs out of the RB's so it's not constantly 3rd and 7. Need to keep the D's guessing with a good running game to set up the play action pass, whether it be a screen or deep ball.

It kind of worries me that Gates was the only receiver Phil targeted last game. I realize you don't want to force anything for the sake of spreading the wealth, but the WR's gotta find ways to get open.

We all know QB's like Rivers (non runner) needs time to throw. If that doesn't change then nothing else matters......it'll be the same sack fest against SD as it has been.

Who wants to bet that Max Starks won't be resigned at some point this season? Left tackle has been a plague for how long now?

Last year: Jared Gaither / Mike Harris at left tackle
This year: King Dunlap / Mike Harris at left tackle

Gaping hole is still there. I've gotta think Telesco could've done better than this. I know the cap was an issue with all the money tied up in players that are not even here, but wow.

Well, here's some encouragement: Every year since 2009, the team that plays Philadelphia in the Eagles' home opener has gone on to win the Super Bowl that season.

Where you guys at? Season not looking too bad so far. We should be 6-1. Rivers back to pro bowl form. Line still needs work, but is working. Matthews staying healthy and coming slowly into form. Gates looking great. Etc....

Wazzup Guyz?

I hope they don't!!! lol

Quick stats for ya'll regarding the Bengals, take them for what it is worth.....

Bengals are 3-0 against division leaders this year: GB, NE, INDY
Bengals are 4-0 against playoff teams this year (that included your team from earlier in the year).
Bengals are 8-0 at home this year.
In the last 5 games at home this year, they have scored: 49, 41, 42, 42, 34
The Bengals defense is ranked #3 in the NFL going into the playoffs.

Bengals are one of the top teams in the NFL in placing guys on IR, which include: Leon Hall (#1 CB), Geno Atkins (#1 DT), Taylor Mays (backup SS and backup coverage LB), Emmanuel Lamur (top coverage LB), Robert Geathers (#3 DE), Clint Boling (#1 LG), Kevin Huber (Punter), Alex Smith (#3 TE), Devon Still (#3 DT) plus one of our top offensive threats, Hawkins missed half the season on the IR/Recall list. Including tons of inactive players throughout weeks due to smaller injuries, like both Gresham and Eifert out last week against the Ravens (#1 and #2 TE).

I was really rooting for the Chargers to make the playoffs, but based on the way Cincinnati plays at home, and how you struggled last week against a Chiefs team that rested a lot of its stars, I am thinking the Chargers have their hands full with Newman (#2 CB), Gresham (#1 TE) and Eifert (#2 TE) all due back this next week against you. I think your offense may need to score more than 30+ points against our #3 ranked defense who has 6 defensive TD's at home this year.

Good luck to you guys, but not enough luck to beat us. Cincinnati needs a win in the playoffs to get this huge ape off our back that has been hanging around for 23 years!
