Salmon Steelhead Fishing Pulaski NY

Heading up tomorrow afternoon for the weekend. I went for 27 years straight but missed the past few years so it'll be fun to wade the old haunts again. I'm sure I'll have a few pics to post next week.

I've been fishing in Pulaski for the past 31 years and this was the most consistent run I've ever seen. Fish ran all day long each day....when we had to leave Monday morning I had them stacked in front of me in the pouring rain...it was so hard to leave. Really nice because we had a couple of young fellows with us who were first timers and they hooked a bunch and learned a bunch about it so on a more lean year they'll know what to do.

Here's my favorite fish of the weekend, not even certain if it was a steelhead or a domestic rainbow but it was gorgeous. I released all of the fish I caught.

...an average king salmon. We didn't take a lot of picks of salmon and my other steelhead pics weren't great.

We're going to go back in late November for a steelhead trip.
