I have a pair of Adidas that look like skater shoes and I really like them. Super comfy. I looked at Asics though since I have flat feet and always liked their running shoes. Not sure what to go with once the spikes on my Adidas are worn down.

You don't use orthotics?

I'm an old shoe man by trade...my cousin has fallen arches and got a good pair of orthotics...took a good while to get used to them, but he just pops them in his golf shoes and he's good to go.

I bought the Adidas 360’s yesterday. Let’s see how comfy they are this weekend
these?

(I am a little curious about how these built in sock shoes feel)

oh I do

in my daily wear office shoes, I have customs.

in most of my other shoes I get some kind of SofSoles or Sol inserts

but there are a lot of shoes that have better stability built into them that I tend to lean towards.

Most of us do...relative to par at least, but we have that 1 or 2 rounds out of 15 or 20 that give us hope. lol

Crazy game...probably the only sport or game that we can be so bad, yet can't wait to tee it up again!

Yesterday started out like shit. Had a snowman and two sevens in the first five holes. Pulled it together enough to finish with a 48. Turned the corner, started out ok, but then everything stiffened up. Took almost two hours for five holes, just stood for what seemed like forever after every shot. Quit after the fifth hole and went in for a beer.

I might need to occasionally take a cart after the first nine, see if I can save my legs.

I'd be interested in how long they last. I usually play three times a week, and my wife plays four. So I get in 27 to 54 holes depending on pace of play. We always walk, my feet and legs are beat by the end of the weekend.

If you got the plain toe...those are probably the new ones...last year's model has the split toe like these linked...they went on sale $102 ea...I bought 2 pair.

The footbed is very comfortable and supportive...I was little iffy on the 360 concept at 1st (what's supporting the arch area was my question), but went the PGA Superstore and tried them on...they work.

Hope they work out for you.

I tried several different brands. This one felt the best on my feet

Oh man...I would get a couple of pair and rotate them...cedar shoe trees when they are stored til the next round...whatever you shelf life normally get, probably more than doubled.

I wear them until they fall apart, change the insole every year. I think the shoes I have now are going on their third year...but hey, they're Footjoy and have a lifetime warranty.

Eh...if they work, they work, but these are not their best offering. Morning dew will have these in a bad way after one season.

Don't tell the wife (she probably knows because they're all in the garage on my shoe rack), but I have 5 pair....the Eccos are 4 yrs old now, but look barely a yr old. I just turned my Nike (nearly 8 years old) to my lawn cutting shoes.

I weigh close to 250, got a feeling i should replace my shoes at least once a year. They get a lot of miles zig zagging across every hole.

Man, another hot button topic...Father's day 2016 I was 248lbs I remember it well because my physical didn't go so well...my Dr wanted to put me blood pressure meds...the nurse knew I didn't want to be on meds so she told me...you need to drop some LBs and get more active...this past Fathers Day down to 213...I'm 6'3".

Yeah probably every year and a half at the very least if you play in the morning on morning dew grass...but new inserts extend shelf life.

LOL...maybe...I'd probably end up wearing them work so...idk....#6 may not happen anytime soon.

Not a big problem down here right now. Mainly just the sprinklers

I wear ASICS every day. I have two active pairs that I rotate and when one gets worn it gets moved to the garage for yard work. ASICS are probably the most comfortable shoes. For my feet anyway. Everyone’s different

This type is what I'm missing...the classic casual golf shoe, spikeless.
I like them. I think I have had them for a couple seasons. They don't wear down all that fast. A pair with replaceable spikes might be a good investment as a second pair for wetter days playing

I should've tried them on at least just to know how they felt so when they mark them down I'd whether they're worth it or not. But a buck eighty now...I'm not sure they would ever come down enough for a non-leather, water resistant golf shoe.

The footbed looks the same as the leather Tour360 that I have so I would imagine they feel similar just lighter.
