My guess is this is just to help keep Roby engaged and working hard. He seems to thrive when the competition is strongest instead of when things are just handed to him. I just think this is a sign of the coaching staff knowing the type of players they have and what it takes to motivate them. They are all different in what it takes to get the best out of them.

Brock was very good up until he cashed in on his contract with the 49ers... See if he can rebound. If anything he will be a good special teams player. He proved he could start in the NFL working his way up from undrafted to starting NFL CB. Don't sleep on him just because he isn't a fancy name.
