Looks like the team has a good chance coming out of the box in good shape. 2-0 is possible. Based on last year of course.
remember dean calling victories over the rams and eagles , " no brainers " ? that backs up your point about last year

Gotta wonder if his lowering price eventually makes him interesting to the Skins on a make good contract.

I would have had zero interest in him for the price he signed for before failing his physical. He's just not that good - ordinary speed, average coverage ability, bad hands, good size, penalty-prone, an ego he couldn't live up to.

At the price Carolina had him, he was still a bargain. As for his play, could it be we don’t put him in a position to use what he does well? Like Amerson?

He played as a starting CB, so... how else should they have used him? And he was offered $8 mil a year for 3 years by Carolina. I don't know how much was to be guaranteed, but it wasn't a bargain.

I didn't like how they handled Amerson. He was actually cut - which seemed crazy to me - cuz they should have at least gotten something for him in trade. And he's bigger, faster, and longer than Breeland - and was more of a playmaker. Granted, he was even more inconsistent than Breeland. Amerson must have done something off the field to piss off the coaches.

8 mil is Travis Carrie territory and puts him at the 23rd highest paid corner in football which is very reasonable because quite a few making less are on older contracts or even rookie contracts.

He is played as a starting corner but his strength is bump man coverage...which is the exact opposite of Josh Norman.

He's definitely NOT the 23rd best CB in football. We're going to have agree to completely disagree on him.

You seem to misunderstand. He is the 23rd highest paid at 8 mil but that is only because others are on their rookie deal or contracts that are outdated.
