Listening to George Vogel on a pod...he said he would be SHOCKED if Burrow isn't starting and clearly this injury is nothing like last year where he came in, no work at all, had to put weight back on, etc..etc....In this one, Burrow has been working like normal on the side, or in private...calf hasn't had the sleeve on in several weeks....

I wasn't ever really worried about it. With it being basically 6 weeks before opening day from the injury, I didn't think Burrow wouldn't be able to go week 1.

Agreed. I stopped worrying when he was warming up for the 1st pre-season game sans the leg wrap...which, by the way, he was wearing when he was injured...telling me he likely already had a strain and was working through it.

The big thing to keep in mind is that physically, he's ready as he can be without having the practice/game reps from a recovery standpoint. Not like last year where he had surgery, lost a bunch of weight, etc...etc...

Half of twitter rejoicing - The other half claiming he is limping and finished for the season. I can't wait for real football to begin.
