10. Washington Huskies

Edging out Wisconsin for this slot due to quarterback play, the Huskies have a three-year starter in Jake Browning back to lead the offensive charge this year.

Browning lacks arm strength but does enough to distribute the ball efficiently. He’s thrown 62 touchdowns to only 14 interceptions over the past two seasons, and has a prolific running back in Myles Gaskin to hand the ball to.

With three straight years of over 1,300 yards rushing, Gaskin is the steadiest back in the country. The NFL likely awaits Washington’s bell cow back once he’s finished his epic Huskies career behind a seasoned, stout offensive line.

I'd probably have Arizona instead of FAU, but outside of that the list isn't bad. There certainly is a leap of faith with Ole Miss, but they are going to be extremely talented on offense this season, so I understand why they are included, I'd probably have them at 10th though.

I don’t see the love for Stanford. They were 34th in points per game and 75th in yards per game last year, but they have them jumping all the way to 3rd in one year?

This is the biggest shit take on this list. They're entirely one-dimensional.

They were 11th in offensive efficiency and return 9 starters. If Love can stay healthy, they will be a top 10 offense IMO. They aren't going to score a ton because of the nature of the offense.

So it'll only be in your efficiency metrics then. Because they're nowhere near top 10 in actual tangible metrics.

So their defense can’t get off the field so that makes the offense look better, because they are below average on time of possession. They are 31st in rushing yards per game and 97th in passing yards per game.

I'm not sure how seriously I can take a list that has Josh Heupel as a positive influence but the top of the list looks right

#1 Oklahoma = That's a LOT of faith right there.
#2 West Virginia = Still in the shadow of Oklahoma

We don't need to get into another argument about this. I've never looked at YPG, PPG, etc, because it isn't the best indicator how to judge offensive performance IMO. Particularly with their style of offense. They aren't going to score a ton because of that.

They were 18th in the country in yards per play last year, which is why they were 11th in offensive efficiency. And that takes into account the game and a half Love missed and him playing the entire game against Washington State not healthy. That's why i said he needs to be healthy for them to achieve that.

I am a more talented musician than Michael Jackson. I don't have anywhere near the amount of awards or chart-topping hits, but I'm more efficient, so clearly I'm the better musician.
