Lance Lynn in 4 starts for the Dodgers has an ERA of 1.44 … something about that uniform.

Shohei Ohtani has a torn UCL. Done pitching for the season. Will continue to DH . Trout back on the IL and may be done for the season.

It is beyond words that they couldn't see this in spring training. The guy was in a groove. Why they didn't send him to Round Rock as part of the rotation and instead put him in the pen is just ridiculous. There are things this front office has done that it's like their heads are in the sand and that includes not resigning Matt Moore. If you are going all in then go all in.

At least we got Chapman for him. It’s not a total turd like trading Hendricks as a prospect for dempster or tanner roark for Christian guzman.

With Ohtani needing Tommy John surgery again how many years and how much money do you pay for a DH? I know he should be able to pitch again but for how long before this happens again?

Well so much for the 9 years 500+M. Figure now that he might get 4 years 180- 200M

At least we got Chapman for him. It’s not a total turd like trading Hendricks as a prospect for dempster or tanner roark for Christian guzman.

By the time the trade happened the mistake had already been made. If we had properly evaluated him and properly used him we would have never made him available to trade. We would have realized he had become a top 5 prospect. We would have still had lots of other guys to trade for Chapman.

Ironically, Cole Ragans hit 100 MPH on his 99th pitch, the day it is announced Ohtani will most likely need a second TJ surgery. Ragans has had 2 TJ surgeries, himself.

I don't either. Look at what they could have gotten in a trade and turn down. I think he will move on.
