I'm ashamed to admit that I've never been to a Rainier's game despite really wanting to attend. It's just logistically difficult when I live in Newcastle.

Well, they won 8-3 over the Padres' AAA team.

The big shot was Haniger with a 3 run dinger as part of a 5 run 2nd inning. Hopefully he gets called up soon!

The pitching started a bit weak with a hit batter, and a walk with a run given up in each of the first 2 innings, but they leveled out and it ended up giving up only 3 hits.

With Julio hitting the 10 day IL and France not 100%, we need Haniger to step in and be a force soon. Hopefully around that 2nd Yankees series and ready to beat up on some lesser opposition.

I hope he's back soon. Haniger knows his body well and I doubt he'll come back if he's not ready.

I just wonder what the hell we do with Kelenic. I watch his at bats hoping I'm wrong about him, but he just continues to disappoint me.

Thought I had read that Haniger was expected to join the club Friday when they return back home. I hope so. I'll be at that game and won't get to see Jrod. At least a Hani-ding would add something.
