Anyone know if in NCAA '13 dynasty you can opt out of your contract as head coach in the middle of your contract?

I just signed last season a 4 year extension with Washington State, and I realize mid season that I really don't want to be there anymore, at seasons end, is there anyway I can leave school and go somewhere else?

Yep. Just look at the available contracts when the season is over, there are usually some openings.

Do you automatically get it? Or can they reject you? Because when your contract is up only a certain amount of schools offeer you.

Not sure as I've never jumped ship. Think I'm in year 15 with ECU now, actually.

Yeah, I am in year 6 with Wazzu, already have 2 national titles and going for my 3rd straight. Also about to produce a 3rd straight heisman winner. I wasn't planning on jumping ship, but it's just gotten too boring and instead of starting over in a new dynasty I want to keep my coaching record and prestige and just move on..

Also being so far into the dynasty some programs that use to be good have fallen off so I can go and rebuild them.

Just broke into a BCS game last year with ECU; probably should've moved to another conference, but I wanted to see if I could get a C-USA team in as an at-large team.

Do they have auto recruiting yet?

They've had it for years; you can set parameters for the computer (which positions to spend time on, what type(s) of players, etc) and never actually recruit yourself.

Think I am going to buy Madden. :L

I wanted out of washington state. had openings at both LSU and Florida. Here I am 3 straight national title winner, produced 3 straight heisman winners, have turned wazzu into a 6 star program in my 7 years there and neither Florida or LSU offer me!?!?! WTF?

Oh, so I return to Washington State because the only other offers I was getting was OC jobs from mid majors, and who is on my roster? My RB heisman winner from 2 years ago and my returning heisman winner QB. This year is going to be a cake walk into my 4th straight title winnning season.

game is too easy.

hopefully Madden is a challenge? Haven't played Maddedn since '07

How about bumping up the difficulty level then. I know good and damn well you aren't winning heismans in a dynasty multiple years in a row with the difficulty on heisman.

this year's madden is >>>>> ncaaf

by leaps and bounds

the only areas it really fails in

some teams go retard and will trade you draft picks unrealistically
like

2013 1st (20), 2014 1st (20 projected), 2013 2nd
for
2013 (15th)

Also you can get desperate teams (injury wise) to bite on good but overpaid players on the tail end of their final career contract

I got 2 2nd rounders and a 3rd rounder for a 38 year old Casey Hampton (87 overall) midseason in 2014 and took the remaining 2 years and $12M of his contract off the books. :L
LOL
