Preseason Rangers....you be the judge

Hank looks like garbage......He cant stop pucks (as usual) in the 2 min mark at start and end of periods. I don't know why he cant solve the time frame issue but the pattern is still there and has been documented countless of times. And its only preseason...no valid backup either. Could have kept Talbot but no sather gave that Puljos contract to Hank at the end of his career which sent Talbot packing. Watch the Oil win their division....5-0 preseason.

calm down its preseason its basically about starters staying healthy and filling out the bottom of your roster. We couldn't have kept Cam because he wanted to start even if we were only paying Hank a more reasonable 6-7 mil a year he would always be the starter until he retires. So it was best to trade him for something. Now I am disappointed in what we got for him. Also Rannta was pretty good for Chicago and we also have Hellberg and Skapski so I think backup goalie will be ok.

Raanta and Hellberg havent shown me much in their preseason stints.....so the backup issue is still an issue and hank still chokes, just look at his vulnerability patterns which I have previously stated several times.

Agreed they look like the Rangers from a few years ago where they just shoot an shoot but don't try and score...... And with Duclair going for his first hat trick I think it begs the question how bad was the Yandle deal.

True, I would've kept Duclair as well. Yandle has played well but wasn't worth giving up young talent like Anthony Duclair.

Talbot: 3-5-0 .904 sv% 2.63 gaa

That with Mac and Staal undercontract I seriously doubt we resign him.

I could see why they did it tho, Yandle gives them a presence at the point if Boyle gets hurt (which I believe he was at the time of the trade) and the Rangers want to win now instead of putting it off for another day.

Edmonton's s defense is the reason for Talbot's numbers and Hank has given up 3 inside the 2 minute mark goals already this year and has been benched for Raanta already into the season. Hank is Choke
