Preseason Bucs at Miami

1st Drive
Miami Offense - Bucs defense looks awful. Miami marched down the field. Somehow they only ended up getting 3 points. Bucs had several good plays but yuck.

Bucs on O (kind of scared)
2 running plays that go no where. 3rd down we convert with a pass. Williams makes a great effort.
Vjax drops a pass at his hands, 2 running plays and we got nothing.

Ugg. Miami looks to be much better than the Bucs at this point.

bucs get a TO and convert it into a TD. Freeman has a long pass to Vjax but there is holding around the 10. Vjax may caught it in the endzone .

Miami on Offense and again they look good. Empressed with QB Tannehill. I don't know much about him but, again, impressed.

Oh, Bucs Leonard ran the TD in. I didn't know we have a white RB!

Miami endes up punting on 4th dn

2nd pass attempt and Freeman throws it way high. First is incomplete. 3rrd dn and he is sacked.

First game that I have heard Ronde Barber as color anaylist. Not impressed. Bucs homerism is strong with this one.

Bucs punt, get a penalty and have to rekick. Miami fumbles the catch and Bucs recover. 2nd special teams TO.

3 & 7 pass is short to Ogletree. Josh threw off his back foot due to pressure.
FG is good.

Bucs looked much better on this series. They maybe getting into a rythmn.

Wow, Leonard Johnson of the Bucs graduated from the same school I went to Largo (FL) High.
Miami O has had multiple penalties on this series.
3 & 10 - nice 10 yd sideline pass for a 1st dn
1 8 yd run
2 complete pass.
3 Bucs get a sack.

Bucs D is starting to get it going. McCoy was on the sideline for the series. Time to give the others some playing time.

Uggh, Bucs O is very inconsistant. I hope they let the O starters play deep into the 3rd.

Miami on the move. Nice throw by Tannenhill for a 1st. MIami gets a TD. Inside pass after several nice throws by Tannenhill.

3 incomplete. Williams dropped ball near sideline that would have been a 1st.

Is there a panic button anywhere? I am not happy with Freeman's performance. Wonder how long this season he will make it before being replaced?

3 complete with pass on the run. 1st dn
1 short run PENALTY 12 men on field
1 & 5 Incomplete pass. Catchable ball by Williams. nICE thow by Freeman.
2 nice run up the middle by Leonard for a 1st.
1 sack by Miami. Their D looks good. 5 sacks for the night.
3 screen goes for nothing.
Offense looks offensive.

2 Bucs actually put pressure on the QB, and causes fumble. Dolphins recover. Scott with the sack/fumble.

Grades -
Special teams - B+ 2 turnovers (bad snap & muffed catch) but they were luck. Also gave up a decent run back as well.
Defense - B- They didn't seem to generate much of a pass rush. They did hold Miami to several field goals though.
Offense- F Doug Martin wasn't in the game and, of course, Nicks is out with MRSA. The good thing is that Martin will help a bunch but I hope they can get going.

I once was excited about the opener aganst the Jets now I am concerned. Then again, it is the Jets.
