My vote is JD! I see him doing a little of everything. We might see a games from him with 6 rushes for 65 yards 1 TD, and receiving 9 catches for 110 and 2 TDs.

I think early on especially both will play and as Martinez approaches his 4th game I believe Frost and staff will know for sure what they want to do.....and my prediction is they will burn his redshirt and he will take over.

I think Frost has mentioned somewhere that he will name a starting QB at least 2 weeks before opener. I think whoever gets named probably sticks unless injury

I'm concerned that Gebbia isn't big enough for the B1G. I didn't notice of he packed on any weight like most of the other players. He looked mighty narrow in the spring game.
If that boy wore a white shirt and a red tie he'd look like a thermometer.
I like the kid, just concerned for his well being.

I don't think I would say not big enough but I'd be lying if it isn't concerning. Antwaan Randle El was 5'10 185. Obviously the wheels are different. I agree it did not look like he has put on any weight which is more concerning to me. At 6'3 he should easily carry 200+ and it doesn't appear he is anywhere near that

If he does indeed become that versatile in this offense that is Heisman type stuff.

It could happen.

The media guide thing with weight games over the summer said he went from 185 to 195 but still not a lot for his height.

Gebbia isn't a statue like Lee was but his weight isn't that much different than UCF's Milton, Frost has been on record that he just didn't call as many running plays, as he would have liked, as result of the weight issue.

Difference here is here we have a suitable backup if the #1 gets banged up, I was shocked Lee made it as far into the season as he did with our OL

I'm going to predict that the "MVP" will be Tanner Farmer! After listening to his presser, that dude is hungry for a championship. Kinda gave me chills at the end.

Yeah I am sure JD or Morgan are the only ways to go here.

I actually believe this first year especially it’s gonna be hard to find one guy who stands out from the rest.

Frost’s system doesn’t really gear up for a single guy to just kill it. It’s really set up to spread the ball out in a ton of a different ways and really quickly.

The last thing Scott Frost wants is for an opposing Defense to be able to narrow it down to one guy whom they need to focus on.

In the years going forward I think it will be a QB most of the time.

His offense is efficient. That means many many guys end up with the ball in their hands, but only 1 guy starts with the ball in his hands.....and he gets credit for delivering it.
