I didn't see this team winning the way are right now and its great to watch. It has been a fun team to watch, something that you couldn't say about this team for years.

That said I am not entirely convinced this is real yet. Before the start of the season I had the belief that this team had a lot of question marks as far as what we would get with certain players and I still think this team has a lot of question marks.

There is reason to be optimistic for sure, they are finding ways to win games that were sure losses in seasons past. There are certain players performing very well, some unexpected. There are also reasons to be a little cautious some guys are still under performing but its been masked by the play other guys.

All that said its nice to win games. Go M's!!!

Excluding tonight’s game against the Rangers even if they go .500 the rest of the way we’re looking at 87-88 wins. Could be enough for a WC spot.

Dipoto has money to spend, so I’m expecting him to bring in some offensive help via trade by deadline.

Also when Cano comes back in August he should help with that push as well.

This is the crazy thing about this team. There is still stuff that us fans can be massively negative about and alot those comments weren't far off except Leblanc and Marco playing way above anything they have ever been, but they are somehow winning. It's truly remarkable...but I still want Jerry fired.

In a strange way I agree. Cano is the best player on the team, but where exactly does Cano play? If Gordon is healthy should Cano really force Gordon back into CF where he hasn't played in 40 games? You guys know my man crush on Heredia and since Cano and Gordon have been out he has been the lightning rod.

yup..and they might as well just move on now..as at the trade deadline..which i would bet on 75-25..cuz they need to
but at least after the draft which they will have there hands full till after that by at least 10 days to two weeks with new recruits
but still with all that.. they will have a good idea of how and who they want..and possibly even some preliminary negotiations..if they are more desperate they will move fast..if not they may think a little more..either way

a cano trade seems the best thing for the club going forward .and in the end...but he is still an all star don't forget that
KC or texas would prob be happy to have him till they can make a come back themselves

Although its still just the end of May. However when you look at the rest of the AL there is reason for optimism. Assuming the Yankees/Red Sox occupy one WC spot, the Angels seem to be the only other team to watch at this point. If they can survive June then I believe a lot more.

Ya, it will be interesting to see. I have no idea what the best course of action is with Cano, but I also wouldn't crazy trying to fit him in either IF things are still going great. I also think (hope) Healy is hitting in the .270's by the time Cano gets back and makes benching him impossible.
