After reading this snippet today as I was doing some research for my draft kings lineup. It made me want to puke. These two franchises couldn't me more polar opposite.
Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski combined will earn just $13 million in 2016 and count just $22 million against the cap; many top quarterbacks alone cost $20 million a season. Brady, Gronkowski, top receiver Julian Edelman, left tackle Nate Solder and starting running backDion Lewis will cost New England a combined $24 million next year
That is just painful to even read. Bill Belicheck is a friggin' genius. I would trade our entire next year's draft to get him from NE.
Oh yeah -- they have every single starter signed for next year already (46 players in total), so they can go after any FA they see fit and could be in line to sign multiple top tier FA's.
