Playoff Win!!

We've waited a long time for the Jaguars to get another playoff win (or even a playoff appearance), but we finally got it! Now we need to follow the in the last team's steps and beat the Steelers twice in Pittsburgh in the same season (we're already the only team to do it) and then move on to the AFC Championship Game for the first time in almost 20 years!

Trust me, I know, haha. Actually part of the reason I post in here every now and then is to try and amp up some activity in this thread. So far, it hasn't helped a whole lot, lol.

It takes time. The franchise has been a train wreck for years and it will take a couple of prove it seasons to gain some fans back. The team is definitely going the right way though

I definitely like where they're headed. As soon as they hired Coughlin back I was really excited. Because they already had a lot of pieces in place but they lacked leadership. Now we just need a QB.

Thank you! I think Pittsburgh will probably win this week but whenever you have a defense as good as Jacksonville then I think they have a chance at any given game.

Like I said in the other thread, I think 24 points is the key. If the Jags want to win they need to score more than 24 points. I think it will be 24-13 Pitt.

Thanks! I was worried they were gonna blow it, haha. I like the fact that they've won a game 10-3 and 45-42 in back-to-back weeks. I think their defense played better than the score indicated, but still would've liked to see them do a little better. Whenever you have a defense as good as theirs than I feel like they always have a chance on any given Sunday.

It's not impossible to beat the Pats. The Fins beat them this year in a meaningful late season game. Gronk didn't play but it wasn't really a close game. If the Jags can beat the Steelers on the road I think your team has a chance.

I like the Jags. Rams are my team but I've been to that stadium (vs Rams) years ago and I like their roster. Alot of Florida talent on that team.

Patriots coaching staff will be burning the midnight oil watching and rewatching the Bills game. They don't care about the Steelers game. They're much more interested in how the Bills kept the Jags at 10 points.

Jags MUST do 3 things.............

Keep Tom Brady off the playing field
Keep Tom Brady on the sideline
Keep Tom Brady from passing more than 40 times

The Pats are not known for the most accurate injury reports. My guess is Brady has a sore shoulder and needed a rest. He is 40 years old and threw the ball a lot all year and particularly in the last game vs the Titans. If I am the Jags I would expect Brady's best game on Sunday. That said, he lost some practice time this week & that could help the Jags. If it is a hand issue he has dealt with it before so he may be just as accurate.

I think containing Lewis needs to be a major focus. He's been very good & the Jags have to be ready for him.

I am hoping Fournette has been recovering well. The other RB's will need to be ready to step up & make plays when needed. What I noticed in the Steelers game was that other players were making plays when he went down. There is a mental toughness with the Jags.
