Looks like Jenson Button has cracked the top three in the first practice. Hamilton leads and Rosberg is third.

But Hamilton's car had 'lectical problems in P2 and he only got in 1/2 hour.

Was still less than a 10th behind Swivel Hips in P2.

May hamper his race set up though.

I just have this feeling that Rosberg and Massa are not getting out of lap 1. Rosberg doesn't get great starts, and Massa usually does.

Qualifying aside, I'm looking for Lewis to get a good start and keep his distance comfortably.

I see a Williams if not 2 ahead of Rosberg at race end.

But I have been hitting the hooch....

I really cannot fathom the amount of bad luck that Hamilton has had, and he is only 22 points behind in the championship. Simply incredible. And I think we got a little view into Rosberg today. Him snapping about the split times and then, as Lewis turned the heat up a lot, he blew the first chicane (for the second time). Maybe the pressure is a bit more than he is comfortable with.

Lots of passing for Monza I thought. Bottas, Ricciardo and Hamilton were highly entertaining.

Perez had his moments too. Massa ran stongly but in an uneventful fashion.

There was some speculation Mercedes "engineered" Rosberg's skids. Possible but unlikely. I think he simply shit the bed.
