What began in Australia as a electrical glitch in the pits, has developed into a pattern of less-than optimal results for Hamilton and Bottas and the Mercs. In the vacuum, Ferrari and Vettel have taken over with straight wins. The storyline continues to emerge as to when Hamilton, Bottas, and the Mercs figure things out as the competition comes to China for this week-ends F-1 race.

Hamilton comes roaring back to take FP2 ahead of Raikkonen, Bottas, and Vettel. This could be interesting.

I'm travelling tomorrow for prodigal daughter's birthday,

Likely will get my picks in just before race time as when I get home, I'll have to aerobically view qualifying and that get my picks in.

I hope the ferries are running on the way home. I'm not electronically sophisticated like so many today.

I actually have to be in front of my TV to know what has happened. No phones for me.

I agree BSF27. The Ferrari's are bringing it each week exposing the Mercs as beatable. Should be fun race as usual.

What a wild race that was, seemed like not much was going to happen for most of it but suddenly two backmarkers get together and change the entire race

Red Bull completely outclassed everyone strategy wise, and what a drive by Ricciardo, that was incredible.

Verstappen meanwhile is off to an awful start this year, he's fun to watch but he needs to pick his overtaking spots better, over-aggressive moves were his downfall in all 3 races so far.

Fun year so far, stunning how Mercedes hasn't won. Only thing that would make it better is if Alonso got a better car to be in the mix. I'm pretty sure he hasn't qualified in the top 12 yet but hasn't finished lower than 7th this year!

Indeed and it usually takes a weird accident to change the end results.

Ricciardo takes the race followed by Bottas. Then it is Raikkonen for third and Hamilton for fourth.

I second guess myself.

I initially had Vettel, Bottas, Raikkonen, Hamilton.

Then I started thinking Hamilton would pull the rag out of his ass and move forwards, etc.

I'd have had the bottom 3 had I stuck with it.

I doubt anybody would have taken Ricciardo to win over all that.

Great drive for Ricciardo. Love it when a driver makes the most of his opportunity. Great job by Red Bull for recognizing the chance and pulling off two double stack stops. From the safety car to the end, Danny passed 9 world championships. Shame Verstooge threw it away. Should have been a 1-2 for RBR.

Max isn't going to get it until he kills someone. F1 won't do anything about it because they love that Dutch fan money.

I also love that Ferrari again pitted Kimi at a strange time and it backfired. Nice podium for him.
