Formula 1 is back in Monza, Italy this Labor Day week-end for another race in the stretch run of the championship. Hamilton is on a roll and presently leads Verstappen and Ricciardo in qualifying. Should be a pretty good race.

Wow, Hamilton takes his 69th pole setting a new F-1 record. He takes the pole ahead of Verstappen, Ricciardo and Stroll. This qualifying was done in the rain, so the end result could be drastically different if things dry-out.

I'll go with Hamilton, Vettel, Bottas, and Ricciardo

Hamilton takes it followed by Bottas, Vettel, and Ricciardo. Vettel almost passed Bottas but ran out of time.

The race for the championship heats both on the track and here on this forum with our small competition. We shall see everyone in two weeks for the Singapore race.

LOL! I couldn't believe how well I did, but then again this race was rather predictable. We are were pretty close, I just happened to have Bottas ahead of Vettel and that was the difference.

I tried that one other time this year and that of course was the absurd Azerbaijan grand prix

Singapore should be interesting though, that type of track can halt the Mercedes momentum and bring Red Bull into the fray, should be fun
