The Phillies face the Brewers on the road. The next 15 games are against winning teams. I predict 6-9 record during this time. But it could be worse. Need some luck!

We can only hope that yesterday’s hit explosion with homers by Williams and Hoskins gets the team re-energized. This series features, Arrieta, Eflin, and Nola. If they can just hit and pitchers are on, we could take two of three. May be too much to ask for these away games, I suppose.

Welcome to Milwaukee. Throwing Arrieta and Nola gives you a good shot at winning the series, but I still hope we can get the sweep. Damn, pesky Cubs are too close and we need a winning streak badly.

I think the Brewers are for real. The battle with the Cubs makes it interesting!

Great matchup tonight with 4.91 lefty Suter vs 2.97 Arrieta. Suter beat the Phils at home in a laugher, 12-3 last week. Brewers seem to give Suter nice run support, almost 5 runs per game.

Phils are up for the challenge and win 6-4 with Franco, Hoskins, and Kingery getting x-base hit RBIs. Hmmm. WTH. It’s payback time, if only the lads are listening to me. Go Phillies!

Phillies can not hit Suter. Brewers will score and Phillies won't fight back. The writing is on the wall.

Darin and Dominic doing anything?
Doms .249 lifetime Average is better than most of our current players. Ruf is having fun in South Korea.
Hitting .319 with a 976 ops and a .414 on base percentage.

I guess we like siting third in the NL East. Have not budged since we arrived there. Too much of the dildoes and not enough of the Phillies.

Eflin vs. Guerra today. After going 4.50 in May, Eflin is 1.98 in June, beating Brewers and Cubs, both quality starts. Old man Cy Guerra, 3-4, 2.71, has thrown 4 straight QSs and has only made two bad starts, in early May. Pathetics may have trouble getting hits today because Guerra is equally tough, .220, on RH and LH hitters.

Long shot opto, beer drinking pick: Eflin gets third win in a row as Odubel and Williams homer to help Phils to a 5-3 win. :dhd:

I cant believe Suter pitched so well yesterday.......I am a Brewer fan and I am going to enjoy this ride while I can as I think they will cool off and stumble after the break.......I just dont understand how these starting pitchers are keeping us in games......WE have a lock down bullpen that helps and are capable of scoring a lot of runs on anybody......But you need starting pitching in this game if you want to get to the playoffs and our starting pitchers really do not have that great of stuff.......Guerra is our ace and is pretty good but after that I dont trust anybody in any given game.

But like I said I will enjoy this awesome baseball and continue to get to the games while we are playing 1st place baseball because I think the tides can turn at any given time with this team....
