Just bought my dream car month and a half ago. It came with factory black striping, but I just got it back from the wrap shop with Laker colored striping and a touch of "old school" with the rumble bee.

5.7 hemi RT with 6 speed manual.

The difference in price for the SRT just isn't worth the little extra HP ( especially when you can't really open it up for all it's worth without risking a ticket ).

It's a 2010 and had only 10k miles on it.

As a huge classic Mopar fan, you're mixing models with the SuperBee (a Roadrunner/Coronet off-shoot) and the Challenger RT. Looks good though...

Yes, I know I did. But I used to own a 67 Coronet 440 back in my younger days, and although not a superbee, it would've looked cool with one.

Also, the chargers nowadays are a crime. A 4 door charger? They turned a classic muscle car into a sedan.

Also, since Dodge is taking the liberty to put rumble bees on trucks now, why not put one on a true muscle car?

It's a tribute to the old school we all love(d) even if it isn't accurate.

But as a true Mopar fan, I get your point. Hope I didn't offend you.

If I was going to make it a true Laker tribute car, I would've subbed the rumble bee for a black mamba. Then, I would put RTMagic on the license plate.

Of course not. If Dodge is going to take liberties with their brand, no reason not to if you like the look.

Remember this "Challenger", lol?

A coiled snake in the same forward leaning position as the rumble bee would've been a cool touch!

I should get a big one made and have it put on the hood. It's the perfect shape for that.

Congrats on your dream car @ANGELAKERAMS, you lucky dog! I have the 5.7 Hemi now, but it's in a Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab.

Second generation Challengers were all but a crime, although it was much the same for most makes & models between the late 70's and late 80's.

During that time, we got to see the evolution process for the different makes & models which have provided some great looks & throwback looks now. Just like the one you get to sport around in today.

Yes, the late 70's to late 80's styles we're terrible across the board for most auto makers.

They were focused on compact, fuel efficient cars and consequently designed some bad cars as a result.

I'm glad Dodge at least went retro with the Challenger. Can't say the same for the Charger and Dart ( which are now sedans ).

Hey, don't sleep on that Buick. Grand Nationals are very popular (and fast).

Don't forget the late Road Runners/Super Coupes! My first car was very similar, a 79 Aspen (black two door, although it had the anemic but bulletproof 225 engine).
