Ratings note - Tiger drew more viewers for the Valspar than every major not called THe Masters in 2016 and 2017.

Can’t wait for this year’s Masters.

Tiger in contention ( 1 shot out of the lead ) and then he starts leaking oil. That's a shame.

It's good to see parts of the old Tiger back. I think by the summer he's going to start winning tournaments again. A good Tiger Woods is good for golf.

I have no doubt this was meant with the utmost sincerity. I'm glad to see that @dash has finally turned the corner on Tiger.

What a great kickoff to Masters' weekend today. Tom Watson became the oldest man (68) to win the Par 3 tournament. And grandpa Jack gave the club to 15-year old grandson G.T. and he made the most of the opportunity...

and this dude may miss the Masters from this

I don't see the Twitter post, but I assume you're talking about Tony Finau. X-rays were negative and his agent has said he will be playing. I would imagine it would impact performance though - it's gotta be tender/swoll.

The whole thing was bizarre. I've seen people pop shoulders back in place, but not an ankle. He did it like it's happened before.

Azaleas, dogwoods, and ankles - A tradition unlike any other.

Is that unusual? (Aside from his scoring avg being so low on 5s.). Justin Rose has the best scoring average in par 4s the last 5 yeas... at 4.05.

Brutal course. Would pay so much $$ to play it even once. What would you guys pay if you could play it one time? I think I top at out $4k.

I would probably tap out at $1K, but it would be a heck of a day.

Oh for sure it would be - Looking forward to a couple of balls finding Rae's Creek on Sunday afternoon followed with a few f-bombs from Eldrick.

Why wait until Sunday, eh Tiger? Wet off the tee on 12.

To be fair, that was a heck of a putt for bogey.

Sergio will have to re-grip his ball retriever after today's round...

Hadwin bogeys 18 to finish at -3 - That's still a darn fine start.
