I wouldn't be surprised if they did move Tortorella. He's dealt with major injuries and had to adjust his team to play more conservatively, but he is a defense/shot block thinking head coach. I don't know if personnel would have made a difference, especially because he's such a stubborn guy.

I think they'll have the exit interviews, they'll tweak the roster a bit and see how he may fit in with that group. If they deem he is a bad fit, I think he will be let go.

They hired Trevor Linden today as President of Hockey Operations and Alternate Governor (whatever that job entails) and he essentially stated in his press conference that he'd be looking to hire the new GM and that guy would make the coaching decision.
