FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. - Fayette County deputies are investigating a string of thefts that included five car break-ins, one stolen motorcycle, and one high-dollar heist of Ramen Noodles.

Nearly $100,000 worth of Ramen Noodles was sitting in a large trailer parked at a Chevron store on Georgia Highway 85 north.

Deputies said the 53-foot trailer carrying the noodle freight was stolen between July 25 and August 1.

The sheriff said the trailer was secured at the time.

There's a reason you shouldn't be parking in designated handicapped spaces...

DALLAS - A man who was questioned for parking illegally in Dallas got into even more trouble after he introduced officers to his 15-year-old "wife."

Dallas police confirmed it happened on July 7 in the Trinity Groves area. An officer approached 24-year-old Jose Lopez-Cruz because he had parked in a handicapped spot.

While questioning him about why he parked there, police said the officer noticed an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle. Lopez-Cruz said it belonged to the teen girl who was with him. He then introduced her to officers as his wife.

“It’s okay. She is gonna be 16 soon,” he told officers, according to police records.

The girl reportedly told investigators that she and Lopez-Cruz were in an intimate relationship and had been living together for the past two months.

Lopez-Cruz, who is in the country illegally, is now charged with the sexual assault of a child. He is also facing a drug charge because police said the officers found a small bag of marijuana in his vehicle.

He was booked into the Dallas County jail with a 25,500 bond.

The 15-year-old was evaluated at a hospital and released into her brother's care.

Help your team win the Canadian Little League Championship, can't travel to Williamsport due to Dad's criminal conviction...

Dio Gama, who was born in Las Vegas to Mexican parents, has lived in Canada for three years. His parents have been seeking refugee status in Canada for more than a decade, but the family's case remains in legal limbo after a federal judge ordered a review of their case last month.

The process has been complicated by the fact that Noe has previously been denied status in Canada. In 1997 he was convicted on a drug charge in the United States. Under a plea agreement, Noe received a 60-month prison sentence and agreed to deportation from the U.S. He was transferred to a Mexican prison to complete his sentence and was released in 2001. In 2008, Noe first arrived in Canada with a visitor visa and claimed refugee protection.

The family hoped its case would be resolved by now, but just days before the national championship game, the family got a letter from its lawyer saying the application was still pending and advising that Dio should not leave the country because there was a chance he wouldn't be allowed back into Canada.
