For the old gamers that played the original EQ back in the day who are done with Sony (SOE), I just wanted to give you a heads up that there is a FREE way to play again with fully loaded PVE and PVP (coin loot) server populations.
I happened to stumble upon this a couple of weeks ago and gave it a shot and I have to admit, I was impressed and it was "home sweet home" for me. The deal is you have to buy EQ Titanium (Classic EQ with expansions) and then over a staggered period of time they will broaden the servers to introduce each of the expansions. So once you have Titanium, it is a matter of using the Project 1999 Guide to get setup and play on their servers.
