From TBLA:

Tuesday, 1:10 p.m. PT (SportsNet LA, MLB Network)
No pitcher, at least dating back to 1913, has ever homered in each of his first two games, so Kenta Maeda has something to shoot for. No Dodger during that same time period, at any position, has done so. Patrick Corbin is 3-4 with a 4.09 ERA in nine career games against the Dodgers, including eight starts, with 26 strikeouts and 15 walks in 44 innings.

Wednesday, 7:10 p.m. (SportsNet LA)
Alex Wood since joining the Dodgers has a 2.41 ERA in five starts at Dodger Stadium, with 25 strikeouts and five walks in 33⅔ innings. On the road that dips to 6.26 in eight starts, with 27 strikeouts and 20 walks in 41⅔ innings. The Dodgers bludgeoned old friend Rubby De La Rosa in 2015, to the tune of .350/.388/.663 in four starts, including seven home runs, 22 runs and 28 hits in 17⅔ innings.

Thursday, 7:10 p.m. (SportsNet LA)
Before Ross Stripling, the last major league starting pitcher to not allow a hit in his major league debut was Steve Adkins, on Sept. 12, 1990 for the Yankees. Adkins only lasted 1⅓ innings though, thanks in part to eight walks. Adkins' big league career lasted all of five starts, with 29 walks in 24 innings. Arizona's pitching staff is much-improved, but through seven games the only quality start came from Robbie Ray, who allowed two runs in six innings in his lone start of the year. But even that came with the caveat of more walks (four) than strikeouts (three).

Not off to a good start so far, but I think they will turn it around.

I think his place with the team is long relief/spot starter. Not being negative here but it is what it is.

Bullpen was spotty last year. Hatcher did turn it around at one point.

Regardless of it being early or whatever, their performance has been awful.

The bullpen has allowed 16 ER's in our first 8 games. Not been pretty so far but you gotta believe they will settle down at some point. Most of them have good stuff and cannot be this awful.

Dodgers last two wins have been gifted. But I'll take it. DBacks beaning Dodger players again. DR seems to keep a level head and not retaliate, which is probably best.

Anyone who thinks that trend is what we should expect for the entire season is off their rocker. It's 162 games. There are peaks and valleys. Kenley Jansen gets an ERA above 2 because no one can go forever without giving up runs. Sometimes they happen early. Sometimes later. But they happen.

It all evens out. 162 games is about big picture averages and percentages. Everyone regresses eventually.

Right but that Stripling kid looks legit. Poised even though he's a rookie, like Seager. Nice 12-6 with good command. Hitters may get used to him but he looks good right now.

John Ely had a hot start, too. I like Stripling a lot, but he can't keep this up forever.
