Game Thread: Ohio State week/game thread

Michgan revenge, check!! Now on to Ohio State, Ohio State, Ohio State. Big 10 title game in October. Should be a great game, but after watching Moorhead open our O back up Saturday, I am feeling better abut it. I think we win a very hard foight, close game.

I do not feel optimistic at all against Ohio State at the shoe. For some reason my gut is saying offensive showdown even if it doesn't sound like it makes much sense to type it out... This is a game where I think kicking makes the difference.

If we win this then it'll prove to me and likely many others that we fully deserve our #2 ranking.

I feel the exact opposite. Penn State worries me & the 1st thing the Buckeyes have to do is try to shutdown Barkley. I think it'll be a helluva game though.

Yeah, debating on going to Gameday or not. Will probably depend on weather. Right now morning looks like some rain, so I'll just hit some bars if that's the case

Yeah, these are clearly the 2 most talented teams in the conference. Neither side should feel very confident IMO. Buckeyes have had trouble with Barkley 38-293 7.7ypc in his 2 games vs the buckeyes. I assume they'll commit to stopping him and open things up for Trace. Gesecki will be a key as he is a matchup nightmare.

on D, we need to make JT Barrett beat us with his arm.

Looking forward to my first trip to the Shoe for a game.

I agree that Ohio State & Penn State are the 2 most talented teams in the conference. Barkley is simply a beast, love watching him play. Well except for this weekend. What really worries me is if the Buckeye D focuses too much on him I can see Trace picking apart Ohio State's secondary. Wouldn't surprise me if this game goes down to the wire.

Have a great time in Columbus & enjoy the game. Not sure what your plans are but if you wanna grab a bite to eat before kickoff there are several vendors right outside of The Shoe w/ great grub. I followed the Buckeyes to Happy Valley twice. In '95 & '99. Had a great time both trips.

Trace needs to settle down and not get to worked up. Last few games he has made several high throws that we got lucky they went out of bounds.

i think he's been as good as he was last year lately. He has always been keyed up early in games and sailed some passes. his play against Michigan was as good as he played last year, especially running the ball with authority and decisiveness again

On ESPN Gameday, Lee Corso put on a pumpkin carved as a Buckeye.

OSU's carriage to the playoffs and the B1G title will turn into a pumpkin by the end of this game.

That loss is on Franklin for starting to play the clock game way to early. He has done this before. 1st and goal inside the 10 and he started playing the clock game. He cost his team the game.
