The Titans released their defensive tackles because of a scheme change, Williams is not worth the 6 million he would have been paid, He's a very average NT nothing to get excited about(So a big upgrade over Haloti at a cheaper price)
And the scheme they're changing to is the same scheme we're changing to!

Yahoo Sports' Jordan Schultz reports free agent Ndamukong Suh is "intrigued" by the idea of playing on the Rams' defensive line alongside Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers.

ESPN Rams reporter Alden Gonzalez adds that Suh remains in Los Angeles Tuesday evening and is scheduled to have dinner with the Rams tonight. He's expected to visit the Raiders on Wednesday if he makes it out of L.A. without a contract. Schultz also reports Suh "likes" Saints DE Cameron Jordan and wouldn't be opposed to playing alongside him in New Orleans. If Suh wants to win, it would seem the Rams and Saints are his top two suitors to this point.

Never fear. The Jets offered him a boatload of money

Newsflash - Jets rescind their offer, rumor has it they think Suh is only in it for the big paycheck.

If that were true he probably would have took the Jets offer since its much larger than what the Rams(the current favorite) can afford to pay him

Apparently he was going to use it as leverage with the Rams. He wants to play on a good team AND get a boatload of money. Nice try I guess. What sucks for us is now the Rams can get him for a lot less. At least if he crippled them financially it would keep them from being a winning team like he did the Dolphins.

Jared Goff will never win a SB. I don't care how good his defense is.

Lions signed LB Jonathan Freeny. Another Patriot depth guy. I know lots of you will be all frustrated but who did the Pats have on defense that really scared anyone? Noone pretty much. They where still top 5 pts against playing a bend dont break with a bunch of nobodies on the front 7

I don't mind the side-grade of the linebackers so much. It was the refusal to add talent anywhere, and if they are not going to spend the money why cut Ebron? He is not great, but he is far better than anything else we have. Creating a entire new position of need and only adding cap space that you won't use anyway is just plain dumb.

Maybe we are trying to sign Leveon Bell. Steelers dont seem to be anxious to sign him.

Lions GM Bob Quinn insists Ameer Abdullah will still have a role in 2018.

"Sure does," was Quinn's exact quote when asked if Abdullah has small hands and fumbles too much.
It's hard to see what it would be. New signee LeGarrette Blount is the favorite on early downs, while Abdullah won't challenge Theo Riddick in the passing game. It's likely Abdullah will be limited to super-sub/lightly used change-of-pace duties.

Rams signed DT Ndamukong Suh, formerly of the Dolphins, to a one-year, $14 million contract.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Suh took less to sign with the Rams. This has been the expected outcome for much of the past week after it was reported the Rams entered the conversation. Suh was reportedly very intrigued by the idea of teaming up with Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers while playing for DC Wade Phillips. It's a way for Suh to sort of rehab his value one a one-year deal as a 31-year-old. Even at his age, Suh remains one of the very best interior linemen, even if the counting stats weren't there for him last season in Miami. Look for Phillips to get the most out of him, allowing him to one-gap and attack upfield. This Rams defensive front and secondary is absolutely stacked; they now just need edge rushers. Fuck.

Suh is at his best 2 gapping even if the stats don't show it.

Birkett is right. Abdullah is just a backup at this point. Hopefullly they can trade him during the draft though. He is a lame duck this year for us.

I am surprised he accepted a 1 year deal. It was his last chance to get another multi-year deal. He will be bouncing around on 1 year deals from here on out.

He was our best kick returner.

But we can always draft more of those.
