The Los Angeles Kings avoided salary arbitration with centre Jordan Nolan, signing the restricted free agent to a two-year, $1.4 million contract on Friday.
The 24-year-old Nolan has two NHL seasons under his belt, all with the Kings who drafted him in the 7th round (186th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Nolan is coming off a season that saw him register two goals and four assists in 44 games, and has four goals and six assists through 70 career NHL games.
