No surprise, Lavar Ball is a terrible person

I was fortunate. My Mom's hearing didn't get too bad.

A friend of mine had to take care of his 95 year old grandma who was very hard of hearing, but insisted she wasn't and that she didn't need a hearing aid (people just needed to quit mumbling. lol).

He has a loud voice anyway, but often had to yell just so she could hear him.

He said that a neighbor came over one time to see what was going on. They were going to call the police, but decided to check things out themselves first because from what they had seen, he was always very gentle with her. Plus, it's not like he was cussing her out or anything.

So, they come over, he invites them in to visit for a bit so they could see for themselves. After about 2 minutes of talking with her, they realized how bad her hearing was. lol

Most people get confused gradually when they lose their hearing - it's a tough thing to over-come

No defensing this behavior. His comments may be a shared joke within the family, but even then you have to think about outward appearances. Not his strong point, obviously.

On a side note, his commercial during the draft last night was kinda funny...but is he in on the joke?
