I understand there is some hatred directed at McCann in general, but I am not familiar with him or his antics enough to understand that. So I am judging purely on the two videos you posted...

The first video appears to be more driven by Johnson, who took offense by Fernandez spitting at him as he rounded third. It APPEARED that McCann was letting Fernandez know that was not cool. It looked like McCann was doing that’s in a somewhat calm fashion.

The second video showed Gomez jawing at the pitcher the ENTIRE time he ran the bases. McCann may have escalated it by blocking his path to the plate, but Gomez was the pure instigator of that situation. McCann was sticking up for his pitcher as Gomez CLEARLY went beyond the line while shouting the entire time.

Neither of those situations (in vacuums, granted) appeared to show McCann going too far or instigating the situations.

WTF? Do you watch the games? As for not working out; McCutchen, Longoria and Jackson. The first two have had much less production than expected and the third they finally had to shit can.

The Giants aren't going anywhere with that offense. Their season seems to be ending where I thought it would. A team middling around .500 but not good enough to compete with the good teams. There is more work to be done this offseason. Not sure what they will do but I don't see this group going anywhere.

I think they had a good plan for this year it just didn't work. When a bunch of guys including your 2 big new names have career worst years with the bats this is what you get. The pitching has been decent but a bunch of vets decided to suck this year at hitting.
