When voting please pay attention to whether each team has its players in the position the player actually played...

Okay, I lied this is the cloest game, hard to beat Montana and Brown but looking at the teams as a whole I like team C's receivers, Dline and secondary more, especially the secondary. D has the better QB, Oline and maybe linebackers, I really could go either way on this one.

Secondary is definitely the strongest unit on team c. The top two men in interceptions, in NFL history, are both back there.

Hard matchup here! Montana facing a stout defense. Good against run and pass Team C is. More investigating for this one.

I like that o-line blocking for Montana... Brown and the Wizard have big games with Joe cool at the helm...

:agree: But Id like to see Joe go deep. Or try to.

Joe doesn't go deep.. He takes what you give em... Nobody there to stop Ozzie then a couple of hand offs to Brown... Slant, screen, run... Ozzie in the back of the endzone off the play action...

While that may be true that defense ain't stopping Kelly, Juice, Franco, Hutson, Alworth and Sanders either...

I think C's defense has a better chance stopping D's offense than D's defense does of stopping C's offense.

There's no time for play action with Page, Jackson and those DEnds bearing down. Gotta watch TJ on those slants too. Dude was a ballhawk before he got stuck with Berman the last two decades. Joe Cool doesn't have Rice this go 'round either. Like Chief Montana.

I have a pretty simple philosophy when it comes to great QB's.....they become pretty darn normal when the other team is knocking the shit out of them. Brady against the Giants in the Super Bowl, P Manning against the Seahawks, and even my beloved 90's Cowboys, I remember the Eagles sacking Aikman 12 times in one game and he was seeing tacklers who weren't even there after a while. Pass rush and secondary, IMO

Good points... Not a huge Kelly fan first... But also, you're in the 4/3 and he is running a spread... You got Jackson/Jackson/Shell on Carmichael depending on how you cover and I know you're not going Zone against Joe Montana...? It's too hard to go off with spread offense vs 4/3 defense especially with his offense... Your defense is great all around but being spread out with Ozzie and Brown hitting you in the gut, I think he pulls it out by 3-7 points...
