Denver is not dropping back to #23. That would be stupid no matter the team.
I believe he said he saw it ESPN, so pretty much. LOLLOL- Don't believe every "rumor" you hear. That would an embarrassing trade for Denver.
Have you seen the "rumor" Buffalo is offering? WAY more.
If someone is going to make up a rumor tell them to at least make sure it makes sense. Did he hear that one from a Patriots fan?
The " moving down thing " and getting good value, etc has been big prob way too much in Elway era so I agree 100% on second paragraph.I mean we have done some dumb trades on draft day, but this one would take the cake.
When we move down it seems like we're famous for "swapping picks" and never really gaining picks when we move down.
Ps. I don't believe anyone on this board ( including myself ) will get more than 1 correct pick or trade in the first 5 picks in this draft.Th

I got Jay Cutler right as well as the trade up to #11 Rams in 2006. Game over at that point.I got brandon marshall correct in rd 4, and two other positions right. Crash did even better one year.
As big a crap shoot as this is, never say never.
Round 1: Pick 5 - Josh Rosen - UCLA - QB
Round 2: Pick 40 - Ronald Jones II - USC - RB
Round 3: Pick 71 - Martinas Rankin - Mississippi State - G/C
Round 3: Pick 99 (Comp Pick) - Da'Shawn Hand - Alabama - DE/DT
Round 4: Pick 106 - Rashaan Gaulden - Tennessee - CB
Round 4: Pick 113 (From Redskins) - Dalton Schultz - Stanford - TE
Round 5: Pick 149 (From Redskins) - Keke Coutee - Texas Tech - WR
Round 5: Pick 160 (From Rams) - Mark Walton - Miami - RB
I didn't want to deal with any possible trades or UFDA's.
This is probably not my last one I'll do but just going to try this out...
Trade: Broncos trade the 5th overall pick with Buffalo netting their 2 1st round picks a 2nd (53) and a 2nd next year.
Trade: Broncos then trade up to 8th overall with Chicago. Giving them our 12th overall pick and our 3rd and our 1st 5th round pick
8th overall: Broncos pick Roquan Smith, ILB, Georgia
22nd overall: Broncos pick Will Hernandez, OG, UTEP
40th overall: Derrius Guice, RB, LSU
53rd overall: James Washington, WR, OSU
99th overall (comp pick): Josh Sweat, OLB, Florida State
106th overall: J.C. Jackson, CB, Maryland
113th overall: Chris Herndon, TE, Miami
160th overall: Folorunso Fatukasi, DE, Connecticut
Based on the draft chart , to go from 12 to 5 is only a 2nd round pick. Your trade would be about 1000 points above that
Elway would be a god if that happened.
Sounds like something from Draft Day. In any trade I would hope for a 2019 #1 especially from a team like ARI or BUF who most likely will play the rookie QB and go through growing pain. Could have another top 10 pick next year.I'm factoring in that they are moving up for QB. There are at least a few teams I know that have already contacted the Broncos about wanting to trade up. So they could force teams into a bidding war and get more value than the draft value chart suggests. Have to remember QB's always cost more even in draft trade.

The further down in the draft you go the less control you have.
