Spring Training Game #1

The first game of Spring. I am very excited to get this season started. This had to have been one of the fastest winters on record.

So todays game will feature the following pitchers for the Mets:
Shaun Marcum
Zack Wheeler
Darin Gorski
Cory Mazzoni
Jeurys Familia

According to Mets.com the lineup will be close to the one for opening day.

Stephen Strasburg is scheduled to start for the Nationals.

Well this is harder to keep up with.

Wheeler was scratched yesterday but it appears as if it isn't anything to really worry about.

I am starting to be a Cowgill supporter

I am fired up to see Wheeler in the bigs. He and D'Arnaud won't be up until June so that they don't burn a year of their contracts.
