I just think that they'll have to readjust now that LBJ is gone & if that means Love goes back to playing with his back to the basket more than just being a spot up shooter that will benefit them more. I also think there will be less pressure on them in terms of winner & a lot of the time good things come when guys can be themselves.

Yeah, the Cavs also benefit from playing in the East. If Love plays more like he did in Minny and Sexton adjusts quickly to the NBA, I could see the Cavs sneaking into the playoffs.

DSJ for some reason kind of reminds me of Steve Francis. Maybe it's just both of their extreme athleticism from the PG position, but both attack the basket in a similar way. Francis had a much better handle though at least from what I've seen.

I like that comp. That is exactly how I view DSJ.

It’s pretty crazy the Cavs didnt have their 2 best players basically the whole tourney. Zizic and Osman. Zizic was getting like 23 and 12. Osman over 20 and made the All-Summer League team.

C'mon, man, they each only played 2 games in Vegas. I could add that Moe Wagner (3 games) also didn't play, as well as Caruso (5 games and the starting PG).

I was a bit disappointed that the Lakers couldn't get a look at Berry in Summer League (injured), or that Newman couldn't do much either. I wonder if Newman keeps that 2-way contract...

the guy I was listening to on the radio said that Sexton's defense is already NBA-ready....kind of hard for me to believe a 19 year old rookie is "nba ready" defensively, but i definitely think he is way ahead of where most guys are defensively as rookies.

yah....the Cavs let Zizic go back to Croatia because of the World Cup.........Osman is in his 2nd year so they were letting other young guys play. It was not important for them to win- it was more important the young guys got reps- if they cared about winning they would have played Osman. He would have been the best player on the court.

do have to say--- a few things make this a lot beter this time aaround--- (i) lebron will be 34 in December, and (ii) the Cavs are a MILLION times better off this time around.

Osman and Sexton will be good guys to start with. Zizic, Clarkson, Hood, Nance are not a bad base either.
