Detwiler and Barrett both walk their 1st batter out of the 'pen. INFURIATING, and there goes my confidence in the 'pen a week before the playoffs.

That's what it looks like. Kinda sucks, but I imagine the regulars will only play 1 game each day.

I think it's inevitable now that Gio makes the postseason rotation with Roark coming outta the 'pen. At least I feel a little bit better about it now

I was listening to Zuckerman talk about it the other day. He was saying that if Gio doesn't get one of the 4 starter slots, he might not even make the postseason roster because he doesn't have any experience coming out of the bullpen (no idea if this is true, but that's what he said) and you just don't know what you're going to get from him in that situation. Whereas Roark does have recent bullpen experience and was effective in that slot.
