Some shakeups this week with conference games and such.
1. Air Force- Air Force has defeated Navy and perhaps the biggest obstacles between them and an unbeaten MWC championship appearance are now behind them.
2. Boise State- handled Utah State, good defense and bad offense now we'll see what happens when the defense can't bail them out against the option offense of the Lobos.
3. San Diego State - YOU HAD ONE JOB!!! You just had to get through your non-conference slate without choking for once and you just couldn't do it could you? It was just too much for you, couldn't even handle the Jaguars of South Alabama.
4. Utah State - lost to Boise State but had the best first half performance against them this year.
5. Wyoming - Impressive road demolition of rival Colorado State, Wyoming may just find their way to a bowl this year.
6. New Mexico - Los Lobos won a shootout over San Jose State, their triple option offense could lead them to another upset over Boise State.
7. Hawai'i - New QB new team? Hawai'i put up an impressive dismantling of Nevada, it's also the first time since the opener that this team actually got some rest so that could be a factor as well.
8. Colorado State - They just got housed at home by Wyoming, but they still could make a bowl.
9. Nevada - Things might be worse than expected here, Polian could be on the hot seat
10. UNLV - Blew out Fresno State, and the QB injury was perhaps a blessing in disguise as the incredibly mobile and athletic Dalton Snead made perhaps one of the most ridiculous plays of the weekend when he had to break a tackle in his own endzone to start a play but ended the play in Fresno State's endzone, perhaps he could lead to this team's improvement because the division is so bad 2nd place is attainable for anyone.
11. San Jose State- their defense is a mess though they got better play from their offense this past week.
12. Fresno State - what a complete dumpster fire the DeRuyter era has become, hard to believe he was once a hot commodity for a higher job when Fresno State was undefeated and ranked in the top 15, the program has gone way downhill ever since the upset loss to San Jose State that year.
