Most wins at break since 2003

The M's haven't won 50 games by the all-star break since 2003... until now. I know it's been bad, but I didn't realize that.

It's been that bad and I think it had made nearly all Mariners fans jaded towards the organization.

More importantly 2.5 up on a playoff spot. Boy what a difference having the 2nd wildcard makes. Instead of being 6.5 games behind LA and likely out of it, they are 2.5 games up. They are going to at least play relevant games in August which we havent been able to say since 2007. Excited to see how the last couple of months play out.

I think you meant 2007. They were 49-36 at the break that year. I think the all star break is a week later now so that would explain the difference in games played. (51-44, 95 games) vs (49-36, 85 games)
