Per, Michael Sanserino: The Pittsburgh Pirates today have activated 2B Neil Walker, Placed RP Jason Grilli on the DL, recalled RP Victor Black & DFA'd IF Brandon Inge.

Now, we are so happy we do the dance of joy!

Good moves all around, I feel.

Giving Inge the boot is a massive roster upgrade anyway you look at it.

Inge seems like a good dude though, apparently he went to the Front Office and told them if they had to release him then do it. I know he should have no input or anything and I doubt NH would have done anything different, but the fact that he is that aware/gracious makes me unable to hate him for his poor play.
