Being a sparring partner is often a thankless job. McGregor takes it to another level. It's bad enough to post pictures in training that are one sided. McGregor's picture looks like he KO'd Malignaggi when it wasn't even a punch. He pushed him down. That's just fake & disrespectful. He has been showing pictures of other training partners also that are less then flattering.

Well this just goes to show you that a fighter that absolutely knows hes going to lose and has everything to gain and nothing at all to lose as far as boxing and money goes will stop at nothing to sell tickets. This is some low shit in both the boxing and MMA world. He wouldnt dare do this shit in the MMA circle. Malignaggi has every right to be upset. Low class by Connor.

Will anyone from SportsHoopla buy this money grab of a "fight"? I wont.

I can understand why you would not want to purchase the fight. The fight is rewarding McGregor who gets the glory in MMA but has never defended a belt. Mayweather is all about that $. This fight is all about making these guys richer.

Mayweather has formally requested 8 ounce gloves. That would make it a lot more interesting.
I think if McGregor doesn't catch him with something early we will see a boxing clinic put on by Mayweather. I think the American serves McGregor some much needed humble pie.

He has conned Mayweather into petitioning for 8 ounce gloves, which could end up breaking Floyds hands on that hard head.

Mayweather has been dealing with his hand issue for years and fighting through it. I think Mayweather will be more aggressive in this fight especially in the mid and late rounds.

exactly, and he has always fought with 10 ounce gloves, 2 ounces does not sound like alot, but the difference in protection to the fighter and the damage they can deliver is very different. Just saying, lose the protection and break the hand, he is not going to hurt McGregor, especially when Connor will be blocking punches with the bone of his forearm not a glove.

Totally low brow. Kind of makes you wonder how serious he's taking his training. He brings in a guy who could help him out, basically turns a sparring session into a tune-up fight on the spot, then starts bragging about how he performed in it. It's a sparring session dude. If it was that great go ahead and release it on ppv for 80 bucks because it's obviously more entertaining than watching you get schooled for a few rounds until they stop the fight because you're a bloody mess from all the cuts on your face.

The fact still remains that McGregor sparred 20 rounds with a sparring partner in two sessions and then posted disrespectful pictures. Anyone that has flown across the country knows that jet lag can happen. You don't spar a retired boxer 12 rounds a day after his flight. The whole thing was a setup. McGregor has been training for the fight a lot more then Paulie before the sparring sessions.

I honestly have never seen a more disrespectful fighter than McGregor. Dana White should have shown the whole sparring session or not at all. Both McGregor and Dana White are classless.

Let's see how McGregor does against a boxer who has been training for a 12 round fight.

Mayweather is training with world class southpaws & now he will be using 8 ounce gloves in the fight.

McGregor has excellent coaching & he works hard at his craft but I think they have underestimated Mayweather's hand speed, defense and counter punching ability.

Like Mike Tyson said, "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth."

I don't know...I have heard and seen a lot of the "news" surrounding this fight and I can honestly say that I don't care about all of this drama that the media eats up and feeds everyone. I would watch it because its the only part of this I care about but I only care because I like seeing an arrogant fighter get beat and unless something odd happens, I am going to see what I want no matter who wins.

Who cares what happened during sparring? Who cares who says what? You wont hear an honest opinion from anyone close to either fighter so I the only thing left is the actual fight...that I wont be buying.

Well Connor has a punchers chance. Also, someone brought up the changing of stances MMA fighters do so will be interesting to see if Connor does so. Mayweather is 40. 8oz gloves is a good boost for connor.

Now with the 8oz gloves im pretty damn sure someone will be hurt. Most likely a hand or wrist injury. Connor because he is not a boxer so im not so sure he will be ready for the 12 round grind. Mayweather fucks his hands up in every fight. So who knows what could happen?

Most of Mayweather's fights have been with 8 oz gloves. I wouldn't be expecting his hands to be injured. It is possible but I doubt it. It's more likely that he causes more damage to McGregor when he lands. I think he will work the body and McGregor's jaw. If McGregor doesn't stop him early there will be a point when McGregor realizes Mayweather is on another level with his skills. Mayweather is noticeably faster with his punches.

McGregor will be switching stances and trying to use his slight reach advantage. We will find out if McGregor's movements & strategy will work against an elite boxer. It will be interesting.
