What the fuck was even the point of bringing Vogey back up? he played like 1 game then wasted away on the bench.

I think he missed the big bucket of bubble gum on the bench and begged Dipoto to come up for the free gum. :thumb:

I would laugh but I am crying at the truth in the message.
It truly is a shame Felix is what he is now and not what he WAS... This season would be even sweeter if Felix could still perform. Now I think he should be replaced in the rotation, its a bit sad watching him suck.

If I were to get in Servais' head I'd say they probably intended him to play more but Healy got hot so couldn't justify sitting him

I mean if your backup first baseman isn't even enough of a pinch hitter to replace Romine with RISP then why on earth have him eat up space anyway? They need the arms more over this coming span.

Not a fan of Whalen coming up to be a reliever. But they need a long guy with Felix on the mound today

Did anyone hear (I think) Tom, from Bob, Groz and Tom, float the idea of trading Haniger (among other pieces) for Jacob DeGrom? I get that you can never have too much pitching and that the M's have it pretty good in the outfield right now, but I think it would be a mistake to trade Haniger. He eventually conceded that trading Haniger was unlikely, so he tossed Gamel's name in there instead (along with Kyle Lewis) for DeGrom. We're not really in a position right now to have minor leaguers that other teams would be willing to take for star players in a trade, so if we wanted to get someone like DeGrom, it would have to be for at least one Major Leaguer, but Haniger should be off-limits.

the mariners ...and other mlb, or nfl teams..........like to trade guys after things like failed drug tests or dui,s

i don't think there are stats on that ..but i have seen it over the years..kind of sweeps the dirt the out the door

instead of under the rug

in that case they would have to trade falia and cano....and if you are going to keep cano then you can keep falia as well.........fair is fair..

Pass. We have zero depth at every position so you would be trading a #3 hitter for a guy that plays 33 games at best a year with what in RF making up for the 50 RBI's by mid June? Good post, but I say pass and keep with drafting pitchers and actually try to sign a decent free agent pitcher. If you are going to trade for one, make it a Gonzo type trade (yes I said that).
