If he gets rocked in the PCL, he isn't ready for the Big Leagues. The PCL is the next proving ground for Lee.

If Zach Lee is not ready then we will look into bringing in another back end starter. I think we resign Nolasco to a 2 year deal and maybe look at Kuroda?

Na, success in the PCL is rare for a starter, I wouldn't mess with it

Beckett is already under contract so I dont see how he would take a pay cut.

My bad, I thought his contract ended at the end of 2013, but it is 2014. If he is healthy, he is here and should contribute. Since it looks like he is starting to throw this week. I bet he is ready for spring training..

Nolasco's playing well this year and if nothing else, he's setting himself up for a nice paycheck next free agency but with as many starting options as there are out there, I'm not sure it should be with us.

EDIT: at least at the moment. if he's strong going into the playoffs I could definitely see it.

I believe Nolasco's first choice will be L.A.. He loves L.A., wants to pitch for a winner, and won't make any more money pitching elsewhere unless the Dodgers decide they don't want him back.

I believe it's a good bet that he will be back.

I have to believe that with Bills and Beckett coming off injury that the Dodgers are going to make a real push to sign Nolasco and at least one more SP. It may be something like last off-season when the Dodgers started out with 50 Starters and then were scrambling when 47 of them got hurt!

Oh god. Chad? The Tin Man? That no heart having imp can stay on the DL.

Bills can still be dominant and he may come back better off of tj. I say give him a shot and sign an extra pitcher in free agency
