I just realized something about my 2016-17 Indiana Pacers that even I did not know until just now.

It's that Jeff Teague had led our team in win shares this season, an even higher number than everyone's favorite L.A. homegrown "superstar" on this board.

It was an absolute exaggeration. My last George thread came on June 21, which is actually four weeks ago.

Teague played 7 more games, and he's a point guard.

Are win shares all the sudden the end all be all stat? Or do you just pick and choose stats as they fit into your agenda?

Well that was a better response than I expected. Don't know what Teague being a point guard has anything to do with anything. My point is, if George is such a championship-level superstar that the media is currently hyping him up to be, you would think he'd be rated much higher through basketball sabermetrics than a guy that's widely considered a good/not great point guard.
