Not sure, but I guess his gesture could have been mistaken as something similar to Boynton. But he claims it was a "zip your lip" gesture. NHL is becoming so gay. I wanna see guys making throat cutting gestures, and pounding fists.

avery said it was a throat slash like gesture.Kovy says it was the zip it gesture which tortarella agreed with.Tg has had it posted on his blog since it happened.If you want to read more go to fire and ice blog was actually pretty funny story.
