Kobe was an elite defender, Harden wouldn't play D at gun point. Had the emphasis been on the 3 pointer in Kobe's day with today's defensive rules, Kobe probably scores even more and is every bit as good if not better offensively

Definitely Kobe. Harden is real close offensively (but Kobe's still better). Defensively, it's not even a little bit close. Kobe has made several NBA All-Defensive teams. Harden has no idea that NBA All-Defensive teams even exist.
