Almost... But he's alive. Dhafir Harris aka Dada5000 or whatever his name is. His kidneys locked up on him during the match against Kimbo and he had a heart attack which put him in a short coma. He claims that he was pronounced officially dead, but I think that's bogus. His heart did stop but was revived and he was put on a ventilator. He recovered and was released from the hospital.

Kimbo's death doesn't exactly surprise me. The dude was incredibly unhealthy because of years of steroid abuse. Who knows how long he had been using them.

It is sad though. He seemed like a genuine guy and reportedly was a devout father. He'll always be remembered as a brawl legend in the streets, not necessarily a great MMA fighter. Thoughts & prayers go out to his friends & family.
