Today marks the 166th meeting between the Lions and Packers. Historically, Detroit hasn't fared well in Lambeau, as their current streak of 22 consecutive losses has yet to be broken. But things are looking up for the Leos, as they currently lead the Norris at 3-1. Mike McCarthy is 5-1 the week after a bye and has a career record of 13-1 against Detroit. Will the Lions finally break this streak?
My keys to today's game:
1. Stop the turnovers: Lions RB's have performed well, but they're also near the top in fumbles. Hold on to it!
2. Get Rodgers! With the way Suh has been playing, this should be doable. Make him discount double check his backside.
3. Win the field position battle. Can't win games if you're always backed up.
Players to watch:
- Kris Durham: Will he build upon last week's performance?
- Ryan Broyles: Just how soon until he becomes a focal point?
-Darius Slay: If Houston can't go, will he be ready?
These are my keys to today's game. Hopefully the Lions come away with a W for today.
