So I started Wentz pretty much the entire year, then he got hurt so I had to keep finding QB’s the last couple weeks bc I traded Russell Wilson who I only used a couple weeks. (I still made the championship but lost by 3 points). Then since whoever had Deshaun Watson dropped him after his injury and didn’t hold onto him so I picked him up.

So I have a few options as my one keeper for next year (I am trying to push for 2 keepers though lol). All these guys were on my roster last year and Watson I picked up late. Please vote if you get a chance.

Who is the best option as a keeper?

Carson Wentz
Deshaun Waton
Todd Gurley
A.J. Green
Larry Fitzgerald

RB has the most value.
There is a steeper drop off or decline at RB compared to QB or WR.

Depends on scoring, but I went with Gurley.

It’s a PPR. Yeah Gurley has a ton of value and I could probably still get an elite QB in the 2nd round

or even the 10th round

or does your league have favorable QB scoring making them more valuable?

Well I think it is pretty standard. We do have a big play bonus, but that is for QB/RB/WR/TE.

The top scoring leaders:
1. Wilson
2. Gurley
3. Brady
4. Alex Smith
5. Wentz
6. Bell
7. Rivers
8. A Brown
9. Newton
10. Stafford

So as you can see it might favor QB’s but not by a wide-margin. It’s more difficult to find an elite RB with the format imo

yup, def keep Gurley

Just so many QBs these days, would be hard pressed to draft one before I had at least 3 RB and 3 WR already on the team (so round 7/8 would be the earliest I'd be looking QB)

Thanks for the feedback I was leaning Gurley. Watson and Wentz (if they finished the year) would have been 1-2 easy but elite RB’s are so difficult to find

The value of QB will nearly always be shot down on this board. Probably because fantasy scoring always favors the QB.
They are the 1970's VCR.
They seem to be worth a high price but in the end they're practically disposable/replaceable.
Nothing against Rivers cause he's one of my personal faves. But the fact that he's on the list shows you can wait on a QB.

Unless you are giving up draft picks in the round you drafted them in or something to that effect. All things equal, though, it's Gurley and don't look back.

I think this year, even if Gurley makes you lose your 1st round pick and all the other guys only made you lose your 15th round pick you still keep Gurley. There are some guys you just can't let go back into the draft no matter what it costs to keep them and one of them is Gurley.

The keeper does replace your 1st round pick
