There are an infinite number of reasons why someone would prefer to go to New York over Cleveland (in life and in sports) and the Jewish community is very far down that list.

The Jets don't play or practice in NY much less NYC. Most of the players live in the affluent counties outside of the city. Some of the younger guys however, are drawn to the city's nightlife. Technically I live in NYC but as you can see, my neighborhood isn't exactly the concrete jungle

Most of the athletes who play here don't even live in the city. Lots of em live on Long Island, upstate, or Jersey.

The ones who DO live in Manhattan can afford to live in a luxury hi-rise and to drive everywhere, so they never have to mingle with us riff-raff
