John Henry Visits John Lester

NESN reports this morning that Red Sox owner John Henry spent the day yesterday in Atlanta, GA visiting with free agent pitcher John Lester. No media was with either one, but there's little question as to what Henry's visit was about.

NESN says that Henry put his cards on the table and asked Lester to return to Boston.

It's pretty rare that the owner of a team sans George Steinbrenner, would visit a player to express his personal interest.

Lester stated that he would make his decision as to where he would play by this weekend. The weekend is coming to an end in about 16 hours.
